The Long Sleep is Over: From Hardcore Raids to Writing Worlds

Is... is the coast clear? Pokes head out from a pile of half-finished manuscripts and Guild Wars 2 dye kits.

It’s been a minute, hasn't it? Okay, more like a few years. If you’ve been following All My Alts for the hardcore World of Warcraft spreadsheets and 3:00 AM raid salt... well, I have some news. Your favorite Altaholic has 'ascended.'

I traded the high-stress life of a hardcore raider for something much more dangerous: Indie Publishing. While I was away, I realized that my love for epic adventures didn't just live in Azeroth. It lived in the stories I was writing as an author. I’ve been busy crafting worlds full of sexy alpha men and gutsy women who take even less nonsense than a Mythic+ pug leader.

So, what does this mean for the blog?

Don't worry, the gold tips and Dad Jokes aren't going anywhere! But the 'New Era' of All My Alts is going to be a bit more... relaxed.

  • Tyria is my new home: I’ve traded my Dragonriding for Skyscale mounts. Expect more Guild Wars 2 fashion, casual exploration, and the occasional 'Why is this Quaggan so cute?' post.
  • The Author Life: I’ll be sharing more about how my gaming inspires my Sci-Fi and Fantasy romance. Turns out, being a Guild Leader is great practice for writing complex political intrigue (and stubborn heroes).
  • WoW Nostalgia: I'll still pop back into Azeroth for the lore and the gold, but as a visitor rather than a resident.

The lights are back on, the tea is hot, and the snark is as spicy as ever. Thanks for sticking around through the long sleep. Let’s go find some new loot!
