BlizzCon 2017: Battle For Azeroth

Today in the opening ceremony the newest expansion for World of Warcraft has been revealed as: The Battle for Azeroth. New features will include Kul' tiras and Zandalar  as new continents. This expansion is centered around the old hostilities of Alliance versus Horde. Read on to find out more!



Shattered trust between the Alliance and the Horde after a long, bitter battle with the Legion has brought a new war to the land. Azeroth's future is dependant on the choices made. Will you rise up to champion your faction's cause?

Ohh pretty races for Horde and Alliance

Play as Allied Races

Explore Azeroth as 1 of 6 new playable races. Void Elf, Lightforged Draenei, Nightborne, and Highmountain Tauren. First you must unlock their favor and in doing so will unlock their race character to play. Along the way you'll earn a new armor set called, Heritage

Jaina has a new look

Kul Tiras - Alliance 

As Alliance you journey to the sea to find the kingdom of Kul Tiras which was once home to Jaina Proudmoore. You'll untangle a storyline of deceipt, betrayel, dark magic and mystical sea priests as you attempt to convince the kingdom to join the Alliance cause.

Zandalar - Horde

As a Horde player you'll venture to the ancient empire of Zandalar which is a troll-dominated territory. Discover Zuldazar, the oldest city in Azeroth while you trek swamps and deserts full of dinosaurs, titan constructs, and crazed worshippers.

Plunder Uncharted Islands

In a group of 3, and in a scenario-type situation you race against other enemy players or intruders to collect resources across unexplored islands. Such as: an abandoned Gilnean castle, landscapes near Northrend, or witness a war between elementals.
