A Change to Two Rare Mounts Spawn Times

Mount Collector's rejoice! World of Warcraft's 7.3.2 patch brought in an interesting change for two rare mounts in the game. Read on to find out more.

Warcraft Mounts Spawn Timer Change

Here's the whole sum of the change in a nutshell. After the 7.3.2 patch launched in World of Warcraft two changes came along to both the Poseidus seahorse and the Voidtalon of the Dark Star mounts. These two mounts are pretty rare with timers set to spawn once a week. Now, these rares will spawn every 4 to 6 hours! This is a great change for mount collectors that hadn't the chance to camp these rare beasts.

Finding Poseidus in WOW

As you know, Poseidus is a rare, elite seahorse. When killed, he drops the unique epic mount, Reins of Poseidus. This NPC can be found in Shimmering Expanse and Abyssal Depths. Check the map for details on where he can spawn.

Fast Water Mount and Pretty as Hell too

Mind you, this new change to his timer will decrease his value on the Auction House. This will most likely cause an effect to the three enchants he drops:  Formula: Enchant Bracer - Major Strength,  Formula: Enchant Bracer - Agility,  Formula: Enchant Bracer - Mighty Intellect. He may also drop a 359 BoE world drop as well.

Finding Voidtalon of the Dark Star in WOW

Now you too can look noble as you ride this cockatrice. 

Remember, Void Talon's encounter is unique to simply beating up an NPC. Before you get his reins there will be a glowing portal.

This portal lasts for 5 minutes so be fast about clicking and entering it. If no one interacts with the portal during that time period it will despawn and spawn at another location after roughly 1 hour.

When you click the portal you will enter a queue for the scenario Edge of Reality. Shortly after that you get phased into a void realm where The Last Voidtalon lays on the ground with an egg in front of her. Open the Voidtalon Egg and you will loot Voidtalon of the Dark Star.
