World of Warcraft Quick Tips: Easy 20 Slot Bags

World of Warcraft Bags

Welcome to All My Alts quick tips. A sensible tips and guide section that will hopefully help to ease or enhance your World of Warcraft game. Let's get started! Whether you are a beginner player or sn advanced one, having 20+ slot bags without dipping into your gold reserves can come in handy. This is a guide to for those that are new to the World of Warcraft game or an alt-o-holic with a ton of alts with very little to no gold at your disposal. Even if you don't fit into these categories it's nice to have extra bags for your bank.

For one reason or another there are a lot of players that are walking about in-game with netherweave bags(16 slots) or smaller to their name. Questing or raiding becomes a burden as bag space is limited and quickly fills up. For starter players(and even some vets) buying bags at the auction house can be expensive. Embersilk bags can sell for around 700 gold while Royal Satchels or Hexweave Bags are priced at a whopping 3-4k.

This World of Warcraft guide will help you to find 5 guaranteed 20+ slot bags and point your way to random drop bags in raid or dungeon instances. If you'd like to finally alleviate the bag space problem then you hopefully your toon is at Level 100 or ask a friend(you must be at least Level 70 to enter some instances) to help you out. Just make sure you tell your friend that he/she can have everything but the bags!

The following are 100% drop rate bags:

  • Pit Lord's Satchel - World of Warcraft (20 slot bag)
  • Enlarged Onyxia Hide Backpack - World of Warcraft (22 slot bag)
  • Dragon Hide Bag - World of Warcraft (22 slot bag)
  • Grummlepack - World of Warcraft  (24 slot)
  • Ogre Diving Cap - World of Warcraft (20 slot)

Here is where to get the bags:

Pit Lord's Satchel

Pit Lord's Satchel: First, you'll want to visit Magtheridon's Lair, located in the middle of Hellfire Peninsula.

  1. Kill all patrols in instance
  2. Pull boss and kill all 5 little dudes (they will heal each other)
  3. DPS Magtheridon down
  4. Collect Loot

Onyxia Hide Backpack

Onyxia Hide Backpack: Make your way to Onyxia's Lair in Southern Dustwallow Marsh. It's located in the "Wyrmbog." Make your way inside the instance, and kill all of the mobs heading to the boss. Once you reach Onyxia, start the fight. At this point in the game, you shouldn't have any trouble with her flight phase, even if you're a melee class. A few examples is if you are a warrior then use Stormbolt or Heroic throw to catch her attention. As a rogue you can use the Shuriken talent or Death from Above.

  • Phase 1: DPS Onyxia
  • Phase 2: Starts at 65%, she will fly up in the air and alternately spawn adds and breathe fire. Keep the adds under control and ranged damage her down to 40% where she will land.
  • Phase 3: She lands and starts fearing, Burn her down and loot

Dragon Hide Bag

Dragon Hide Bag: Off to Northerend, in the Dragonblight. Fly over to Wyrmrest Temple, and go under it, and inside the instance "Obsidium Sanctum." Make your way around the instance killing all the mobs. When you've cleared everything, head to the middle and engage the boss, Sartharion. You shouldn't have any trouble with him, and when defeated, he'll drop a 22 slot bag. If your toon is Level 100 or well geared then simply take on all 3 drakes to spare time.
Grummlepack

Grummlepack: This is a reward from a quest from Kun-lai in the Mists of Panderia expansion. Here's what you need to do assuming you haven't quested in these parts of Kun Lai:

  1. Find Brother Lintpocket at One Keg and complete his quest  The Burlap Trail: To Burlap Waystation
  2. Complete  The Rabbitsfoot from Brother Trailscenter
  3. Complete  The Broketooth Ravage from Brother Rabbitsfoot (the guy you just rescued)
  4. Return to Brother Rabbitsfoot and hand in the two quests.(Note: you can decline  A Monkey Idol that the dialog will try to give you first; it's not needed to get your Grummlepack.)
  5. Complete  No Pack Left Behind and enjoy your new 24 slot bag!
  6. You do not need to complete  Traffic Issues.

Note: This quest sometimes glitches and the Grummles either won't show up, won't move, or move backwards. If this happens to you then simply abandon the quest and pick it back up. If that doesn't work put in a ticket and go get the other bags.
Ogre's Diving Cap

Ogre's Diving Cap: This is a treasure in Nagrand from the Warlords of Draenor expansion. Travel to Nagrand at coordinates (64.7, 35.7) to find the Watertight Bag under the bridge,

The below bags are technically free as well; however they do not have a 100% drop rate as the above, or they require more time to acquire:

Papa's Brand New Bag

Papa's Brand New Bag: Head up to Icecrown and set your dungeon to Heroic to enter the "Forge of Souls" instance. The first boss, Bronjahm, has a chance to drop a bag called "Papa's Brand New Bag." Solo him, and hopefully, it will drop, giving you a 22 slot bag.
Papa's New Bag

Papa's New Bag: Don't blink twice. Although this appears to be a duplicate bag, it is not. This bag can be found in the same instance as above. The difference is that this bag has 2 fewer slots and a higher percentage to drop at 22%. A player can farm this on normal mode.
Sun Touched Satchel

Sun Touched Satchel: Found in Magisters' Terrace in Outland. You'll have to take the portal in Shattrath to the Isle of Quel'danas. Farm it on Normal or once each day on Heroic. Every NPC in the instance has a chance to drop it and it normally drops within one or two runs.
Tattered Hexcloth Bag

Tattered Hexcloth Bag: Journey to Zul' Aman in Ghostlands. When there, find "Witch Doctor T'wansi" at the entrance. Accept his quest The Hex Lord's Fetish. You'll need to kill "Hex Lord Malacrass". Kill him, and make sure to loot him for his quest item. Return the item to T'wansi, and enjoy your new 24 slot bag!
Kor'kron Supply Satchel

Kor'kron Supply Satchel: If you don't mind a bit of farming, this 24 slot bag will drop off of any Kor'kron unit located within the Northern Barrens. It does have a low drop rate however, specified to be at around 0.18-0.3% chance, but it is a nice find if you're also farming for other items. Start pulling those mobs!

Note: This bag can be looted on a Level 1 character so long as a Level 90+ player kills the mob and you are in the same party to loot the bag.

And that's it! You've gotten quite a few 20+ slot bags and for nothing more then a little bit of your time. In addition, you may have also gotten a few achievements and even some mounts as well.

Happy Playing!
