20 Incredible Warcraft Movie Cards
20 Incredible Warcraft Movie Cards
Alliance Banner - The lion emblem is far more detailed than the game could provide. Note that the hem of the banner is very much alike the embroidery players can choose from inside the game.Horde Banner - The Horde symbol hasn't changed a bit from what players see inside the game. It brings a feeling of familarity.
Ogrim Doomhammer - an important figure in World of Warcraft lore. Sadly, he didn't have much of a role in Warlods of Draenor. Orgrimmar, Hammerfall in the Arathi Highlands, and the aerial battleship Orgrim's Hammer are named in his honor.
Sir Anduin Lothar - otherwise known as the Lion of Azeroth, was the last true descendant of the ancient Arathi bloodline, a knight champion of the Kingdom of Azeroth (later known as the Kingdom of Stormwind) during the First War, and the supreme commander of the armies of the Alliance of Lordaeron during the Second War.
Stormwind Guard - The Royal Guard of Azeroth (later known as the Kingdom of Stormwind) are stout protectors of the throne and realm. The best of the best within the military ranks make up the bulk of the Stormwind army.
Horde Shield - This shield seems more ornate than functional. Orcs are typically known as blood thirsty brutes. The skull with heavy horns on the crest of the shield depict a savage nature.
Blackrock Hammer - known as master crafters inside the game, the Blackrock Orcs create their own weaponry with a sense of pride.
The Doomhammer - Passed down from Father to Son and then to one who was not of the Blackrock clan. A sage prophet once spoke,“The last of the Doomhammer line will use it to bring first salvation and then doom to the orc people. Then it will pass into the hands of one who is not of the Blackrock clan, all will change again, and it will once again be used in the cause of justice.”
Horde Arsenal - When you think of the Horde you perhaps envision Orcs first and foremost before the other races. The Horde Aresnal reflects the fiercest aspects of its battle-hardened people.
Alliance Halberd - A two-handed pole arm that combines a spear with a battle-ax. The Alliance Halberd carries the crest of Stormwind upon the battle-ax.
Lady Taria's Dagger - The Lady Taria Wrynn was the Queen of the Kingdom of Stormwind during the First War. She was the wife of King Llane Wrynn I and the mother of King Varian Wrynn.
Alliance Spear - At first glance the long weapon appears simple but you can see it does have some ornate work by the blade.
Alliance Aresenal - A good look into what the Alliance Guard weld within the ranks. You've seen the spears and halberds earlier. The shields seem to be made with a heavy metal most likely to prevent piercing or cutting blows to the holder. They are long in height to provide protection from head to toe. The weight of the shield could be a disadvantage as it reduces mobility for the sake of protection.
Orc Tent - Quite simply, a portable shelter. The simple brown hues could reduce visibility to foes. A pup tent of sorts from the old days that were meant to provide shelter for at least three.
Black Morass - Inside the World of Warcraft game it is the divide between the Swamp of Sorrows and the Blasted Lands. The Black Morass is the area where the first orcs appeared in Azeroth.
Durotan's Tent - The father of Thrall and an important figure in Warcraft lore. It's not surprising to see that his tent appears as humble as he is known to be.
Guldan's Tent - I honestly was expecting a shelter from this guy to be a bit more ...sinister. However, much as Guldan is, appearances can be deceiving.
Orc Baby Basket - Green baby jesus... ahem. I mean, I wonder who this little fellow is? A tiny figure wrapped in a handmade carrier. There are a few examples of this inside the game. Typically, the mothers are seen with the baby basket tired to their back(baby and all).
Stormwind Throne Room - For the Alliance, this is a very familiar scene. The Throne room of the King is where many things have occurred from Prestor's reveal to the transformation of a once loyal Stormwind guard to a Dark One.
Karazhan - also known as Medivh's Tower or the Ivory Tower of Karazhan. Inside the game it is known as a L70 raid instance that is very much beloved to this day. Either way, its is located on a nexus of ley lines in southern Deadwind Pass. The tower is best known for its last known occupant — Medivh, the last Guardian of Tirisfal.
