Does this shield need an introduction? Perhaps your lore is a bit fuzzy. Allow me to introduce a shield above all shields. Azzinoth was a doomguard commander of the Burning Legion during the War of the Ancients until Illidan killed him, and took Azzinoth's chest piece along with his twin warglaives. It is considered the best looking shield in the history of wow. Epic backpacks don't come any cooler than this beast. Once only available at China's Blizzard store this snazzy and epic backpack - Bulwark of Azzinoth is now available for purchase in the states.

Performance

As far as travel backpacks go it performs just as well as a travel tote. The outside is a sturdy leather with thick straps. Upon the straps are a Blizzard/World of Warcraft logo. The straps are adjustable. It has an excellent amount of space inside. If you are a fellow gamer you can easily fit an entire keyboard with numeric pad into it with room for more items.

Here's a multi-view of the backpack in action. The Bulwark backpack can also be wielded as a shield thanks to the center strap. The Bulwark of Azzinoth Backpack easily towers at about 2 feet tall that will take the whole of your backside. If you are a petite person you will feel as if you are a gnome!  No worries about the spikes being sharp as they are also nicely padded.


If there is anything to dislike it is that on the back is also an in-game item description of the actual Bulwark of Azzinoth but in Chinese. A description in English would have been great as well. The shield is a also a shade more purple then what the pictures suggest but not so much that it detracts from its quality.
