Blizzcon 2013: A few notes about Warlords of Draenor
Warlords of Draenor has been recently announced as the fifth expansion to the World of Warcraft MMO. Here's a brief recap of what the expansion includes and what we the players can look forward to experiencing once it releases.
The new Warlords of Draenor expansion will feature:
New continent of Draenor (7 zones, 1 PvP zone)
Build and upgrade your Garrison(Blizzard's version of player housing)
A level 90 character upgrade
New player character models
6 new Dungeons and 2 new Raids
Heroic versions of 2 classic Dungeons
New Challenge modes
New Battlegrounds and World Bosses
New Normal and Heroic Scenarios
Level cap raised to 100
New class talents and permanent ability bonuses
Refined quest system with hundreds of new quests
Account-wide Heirlooms, Toys and possibly tabards
Sortable Bags
The ability to craft directly from the bank
New Raid Structure for Raid Finger, Normal, Heroic, and Mythic
Three major changes to stats and items have been announced in the official Warlords of Draenor FAQ.
They are:
Hit and expertise will be removed
New stats will be added, including Cleave and Movement Speed
New armor itemization will allow easier sharing among classes
A few tidbits were revealed by Chris Metzen during an interview following the Opening Cermonies at BlizzCon 2013.
Which are:
Garrosh Hellscream is not the end boss of the new expansion.
Garrosh 'sets things in motion' with the aid of an unknown accomplice with time-travel abilities.
Garrosh escapes his trial in Pandaria before he can be judged, and returns to Draenor in the past to prevent the one great mistake that led to the creation of the Old Horde - the drinking of the Blood of Mannoroth.
The Orcish faction leader should preferably be Saurfang or Eitrigg. Metzen leans more towards Saurfang.

I'm sincerely hoping that the Orcish faction leader will be Saurfang. He is the living symbol of what it is to be Horde. And if you think not, he'll cleave you for thinking otherwise!
