Welcome to All My Alts quick tips. A new section that will hopefully help to ease or enhance your World of Warcraft game. Let's get started:

Rugged leather is supposedly one of the hardest mats to farm to level Leatherworking. There's no denying that skinning is a pain and not a lot of players like to dedicate time to it. Which means that rugged leather sells for a pretty decent amount across all servers. This quick tip is for L85+ players with high enough skinning who want to make gold quick.

Location: 

Onyxia's Lair 10-man

Requirements:

Skinning

Self-heals

Inside Onyxia's Lair there are four Onyxian Warders (http://www.wowhead.com/npc=12129#skinning), these are easily solo-able and gives 8-20+ Rugged leather when you skin them. However, the trick is that whenever you drag the brood mother, Onyxia out of her lair then two more Onyxian warders spawn in the entrance path to join the fight.

The Method: 

Quickly aggro Onyxia and start to head outside of her lair back into the tunnels. You will reach a point where she will breathe fire at you and spawn two extra Onyxian Warders. Once they are spawned you engage them. At this point you will be far enough into the tunnel that Onyxia will return back to her spot in the lair. Once you defeat the Warders, skin them. Heal up if necessary and repeat. Remember, you mustn't kill Onyxia herself if you want to continue this method. Using this trick there is no need to reset the instance and results in quite a bit of rugged leather farming. Happy playing!
