Warcraft Quick Tips: AH Macros

World of Warcraft Quick Tips

Welcome to All My Alts quick tips. A new section that will hopefully help to ease or enhance your World of Warcraft game. Let's get started:

No AH addon? No problem.

Although I highly recommend using an auction house addon such as TradeskillMaster or Auctionator to nvaigate the game's AH there are some macros to help a player easily use the default UI. Here are a few that you can copy and paste.

The Browse Tab

Buyout Macro:

/click BrowseBuyoutButton

/click StaticPopup1Button1

Note: Use this by clicking on the item you want and then pressing the macro

Bid Macro:

/click BrowseBidButton

/click StaticPopup1Button1

Note: Use this by clicking on the item you want and then pressing the macro

First Item Buyout/Bid Macro:

/click BrowseButton1

/click BrowseBuyoutButton

/click StaticPopup1Button1

Note: Make sure what you want to buy is first and then press the macro. You may also substitute the word Bid instead of Buyout if you wish to bid on the first item.

Skip Forward/Backwards faster:

/script BrowseNextPageButton:Enable()

/click BrowseNextPageButton

Note: Clicking this macro will go to the next auction page not needing for the next page button to un-grey out. Substitute Next with Page if you want to make it go in reverse.

The Bid Tab

Re-Bidding Button:

/click BidBidButton

Note: Click on the auction you wish to outbid.

Make a new bid:

/script BidBidButton:Enable()

/click BidBidButton

Note: Click this once you already have the new amount you wish to type in and make sure you clicked on the right auction. Bidding higher or equal to the buyout amount will buyout the auction.

Buyout Button:

/click BidBuyoutButton

/click StaticPopup1Button1

Note: Use to buyout an auction

Auctions Tab

Accidentally hit the create auction button?

/click AuctionProcessFrameCancelButton

Note: Pressing this will cancel the auction that you are making so you won't lose the auction deposit fee.

First Auction Cancel:

/click AuctionsButton1

/click AuctionsCancelAuctionButton

/click StaticPopup1Button1

Note: This cancels your first auction with the click or press of this button. Switch the first "1" with any number to delete the one which you choose.

Cancel Any Specific Auction:

/click AuctionsCancelAuctionButton

/click StaticPopup1Button1

Note: Click the auction you wish to cancel and click this macro.

Create Auction Button:

/clickAuctionsCreateAuctionButton

Note: Click this macro to create the auction

Any Tab

Close Auction Frame:

/click AuctionsFrameCloseButton

Note: This closes the auction frame of any tab.
