Chimaeron and a fanfic's woes

In what was the single most frustrating effort on my guild's part; the dreaded beast was downed. What makes this fight intense is the huge amount of damage this boss inflicts on the raid. Not only that, but it is dependant on proper taunt switches and healing prowess. The healing was our overall hurdle because of two healers not understanding the fight mechanics. Even still, we managed to down him with a huge amount of dumb luck.

 Here Without You, a fanfic I have been working on and off again for the past five years is finally near completion. The story would have been finished months ago but I had a hard-drive failure(a long while back) that pretty much screwed up a lot of things. Luckily, I had a few pictures stored away on a disk. Unfortunately, the loss of the original meant I had to re-do quite a bit of the storyline into something different.

The pictures above are two that won't make it into the finished story. The scene was a 'dream sequence' where the main character(on the left) finally realized the class(paladin) she was meant to become. The toon on the right, is of course, the one that helps the main character understand her lot in life.

Personally, I would love to work it into the story but it didn't quite fit and came off too lengthy in nature. Here's to hoping the final chapter will be done this May!
