Blizzcon: Cinematics Panel

One of the most interesting panels was the Cinematics panel. They spoke about their ideas in regards to which races and lands would be affected by the cataclysm brought upon Azeroth by Deathwing. They also spoke of how the team came to create the Catacylsm cinematic first showcased at a baseball game. Personally, I was happy to see the drawings and picture slides that showed their pre-concept arts/ideas.

One of the early concepts they had was to show an Alliance versus Horde battle that was taking place during the actual sundering of Azeroth. The Cinematics team decided against this in the end as it showed a story that wasn't about Deathwing.

Although it was decided in the end that the Cinematics team would not do a montage of characters like in the past; they were given two stories to narrate. The Goblin and Worgen intro cutscenes! Videos of the Goblin starter zone were released but the Worgen cutscene has never been shown...until Blizzcon. Here's a few photos of the movie:
