Game Guide: Ingame Costumes and Transforms
Have some fun ingame via transformations or costumes. Some of the costumes/transformations can only be obtained via quests or holidays so I took the liberty of categorizing them for you. I might have missed a few but it's a nice list to keep you busy. Be quick to try out a few of the quest items as some may be taken out when Cataclysm rolls into Azeroth. Currently I am farming for the Orb of Sindorei but it's being horrid and not dropping. Evil RNG why must you hate me? >.<

Trinkets/Elixirs/On-Use Items
Orb of Deception
This item is a rare trinket often found as a world drop in the level 50-60 areas. It can also drop from the Dire Maul (outside) arena bosses with a decent droprate. It will turn you into another race of the opposite faction.
Transforms:
Undead Male <-> Night Elf Female
Undead Female <-> Night Elf Male
Troll Male <-> Dwarf Male
Troll Female <-> Dwarf Female
Tauren Male <-> Gnome Male
Tauren Female <-> Gnome Female
Orc Male <-> Human Male
Orc Female <-> Human Female
Gordok Ogre Suit
Tailors may learn this pattern in Dire Maul North. Leather workers are also able to create this ogre costume.
Iron Boot Flask -
Sold by Horde/Alliance vendors in Storm Peaks for 10x Relic of Ulduar. Turns you into an Iron Dwarf.
Savory Deviate Delight
Turns you into a Ninja or a Pirate
Dire Brew
Available from a Dark Iron Dwarf near the vendor Gnome who wants you to taste some of his new brews. In the end he will fall asleep and drop a mug. The item transforms you into a Dark Iron Dwarf for one hour.
Pygmy Oil
You get smaller each time you drink the oil. Take enough and it will turn you into a pygmy gnome.
Magic Eater
Fished up in Dalaran Sewers a fish that turns you into the following: basilisk, roach, locust and whelp.
Orb of the Sin'dorei
Dropped from a random boss in Heroic Magisters Terrace. Turns you into a Blood Elf.
Frenzyheart Brew
Turns you into a Wolvar, obtained from the Frenzy Heart tribe in Scholazar basin.
Underbelly Elixir
Found in the Dalaran sewers.Turns you into a wasp, a Tuskarr or a Mage.
Hook of the Master Angler
Obtained from STV fishing contest, turns you into a fish with 35% increased swim speed
Super Simian Sphere
Random Northrend World Drop.. Turns you into a simian within an Arcane sphere.
Rituals of the New Moon
Crafted ofhand with Inscription. Turns you into a giant wolf on use.
Ethereal Oil
Self-explainatory.
Moonglow
Bought during the Lunar holidays that gives a 'shiny' effect.
Quest Costumes:
Noggenfogger Elixir
Sold by Marin Noggenfogger in Tanaris
- Slowfall 15 seconds: 45% chance to happen
- Skeleton form 10 min: 35%
- Small person 10 min : 20%
Alliance only: Obtained from a L18 quest in Ashenvale. Turns you into a furbolg
Orb of the Blackwhelp
This item is obtained from(sold by) Wyrmcult Provisioner in Blade's Edge Mountains and turns you into a black whelp. Even if you have completed the quest you can still kill the mobs outside the cave to gain the Costume scraps needed to create an Overseer Disquise. Get inside the cave, turn left and talk to Wyrmcult Provisioner.
Overseer Disguise
Turns you into "Overseer Nuaar" for 3 minutes. A player must be on the quest, "Meeting at the Blackwing Coven"
King Mrgl-Mrgl's Spare Suit
Turns you into a Murloc from "Surrender Not" quest in Borean Tundra
Worg Disguise
Turns you into a Worg. Obtained from the quest: "Worg's Clothing" from Howling Fjord.
Rotten Apple
Obtained from the quest "Nathanos' Ruse". Turns you into a member of the Scarlet Crusade.
Tirion's Gift
Turns you into a Scarlet Crusader. Obtained from the quest "Scarlet Subterfuge" in EPL (Only while doing the quest.
Time-Lost Figurine
Drops from Terokk in Skettis in Terokkar Forrest (Outlands). Turns you into an Arakkoa. He must be summoned via the quest "Terrok's Demise".
Holidays only:
You become a gnome for 30 minutes, but lose the buff if you die.
Hallowed wand
Obtained from trick or treating during Hallows End. Turns you into: Bat, Ghost, Leaper Gnome, Ninja, Pirate, Skeleton, Wisp.
Winter Veil Disguise Kit
Obtained from the Winter Veil holidays. Turns you into a snowman.
Rabbit Costume
Obtained from Noble Garden holidays. Turns your target into a bunny.
Dread Corsair
Turns you into a member of Dread Captain DeMeza's crew. Obtained from talking to Dread Captain DeMeza in Booty Bay during Pirates Day.
Egg Nog
Obtained from Winterveil. It is a cooked item that once drunk turns you into a snowman or reindeer.
Brazier of the Dancing Flames
Obtained from Midsummer Festival after collecting 350 burning blossoms. Turns into a dancing dranei made of flames.
UDE Points Lootcards:
Carved Ogre Idol
You get this by entering 25,000 UDE points with UpperDeck. You get these cards by buying the WoW Trading Card Game (100 UDE Points per pack). Turns you into an ogre.
Blizzcon:
Murloc Costume
Obtained from attending Blizzcon 2007.
