House of Widget is Recruiting

is a 10M raiding guild that is striving to stay small, have a family-friends atmosphere and puts most of our focus into our raiding team. House of Widget is a guild full of people who simply want to enjoy the game. We're not about being the best, we're about having fun. Our guild isn't a hardcore guild in any aspect. We're laid back and casual, but we still like to do things, and we certainly like to do those things well.

We also run old raids for transmog and giggles every so often. We are currently 1/8H and looking to finish heroic DS before MoP hits. Or just raid DS in general since we love killing bosses and taking loots!

Please no paladins or druids as we are full in each of this class archetype.

The players we are looking for:

First and foremost, House of Widget is looking for friends and like-minded people to enjoy the game with.

In the last month, our little family was bitten hard by the pre-expansion blues bug. What once was a full raid team, is now down to 7 regulars. However, we'd like to be whole again and ideally have 13-14 raiders, because people need to be able to take the occasional week off without breaking the team. We need to be 1 or 2 deep in each class archetype. And you won't just sit out if we have everyone online. We have run weekends where we have 2-3 extras and we just rotate people in and out throughout the evening based on fight comps or who needs what gear. Not to mention we also run alt runs during the week to give everyone a chance to see endgame content.

That said, you can and will probably be sat from time to time. We're looking for team players who aren't going to get mad just sitting in vent for a fight or two.  We especially want players that thinks of the team first before loot. We're looking for players who want to have fun, but know when it's time to be serious. At the end of the night, we like logging off knowing we're the bestest gamer friends any one could have!

+ As the title states, we are Alliance and on the Darrowmere PVE server.
+ We raid Friday - Sunday from 6:00-10:00 PST server time
+ Mondays at 7:00 if we need more time.
+ We tend to be PG-13.
+ We're 1/8 in HEROIC DS 10m.
+ We use a loot council/modified suicide kings loot method which consists of the officers.
+ We often provide all food, flasks and money for repairs during raids. It helps to come prepared though!
+ We like to run retro dungeons/raids for the chievys.
+ We're couples friendly.
