Gold Guide: Winter Veil Gold Guide

Winter Veil Gold Guide
The most lucrative holidays in World of Warcraft are almost upon us. The holiday of Winter Veil brings with it achievements, festivities, as well as a variety of means to make gold. In this guide I will list the various ways a player can make a nice amount of profit by providing achievement seekers and collectors with items and materials. Note that the gold making does not stop in Winter Veil. If you hoard a good amount of patterns and toys then wait a few months to begin selling them at 250% price markup. And they will sell in the thousands.

Sell these for Winterveil:

Small Egg:  As Horde you wil lwant to farm Feral Dragon hawks which often drop 1 or 2 at a time. As Alliance, about half way down Longshore in Westfall, near the opening that leads to the Raging Chasm, there are two/three level 12 Greater Fleshrippers that are an insta-spawn. Put these in stacks of 5 for 20g or more.

Rugged Leather: The best place so far to farm Rugged Leather is from Onyxian Warder in Onyxia's Lair; they usually drop 15-18 leathers each. Kill the mobs. Run out, reset, then repeat.

Wool Cloth: Don't forget to create and sell bolts of these as well. As for location, about 100 yards right of  Green Warden's grove in Wetlands, right along the road: There's a bunch of Dragonkins and Dragonmaw Orcs that are fighting constantly. In that area alone there are a ton of humanoids with zero cooldown on respawning. Get to work!

Runecloth and Runecloth Bolts: Run Hellfire Ramparts as the runecloth drops like candy here.

Ice Cold Milk and Mild Spices: Sold at all innkeepers. Sell these in singles and doubles.

Holiday Spices: These are only available during the Feast of Winterveil. However most do not remember where to buy them as they are needed to make gingerbread cookies. If you are Alliance then Khole Jinglepocket at Stormwind trade district or Wulmort Jinglepocket in Ironforge sell these. If you are Horde then Penney Copperpinch in the Valley of Strength of Orgrimmar. They come in stacks of 5 so put up at least 100 to sell.

Red and Green Dye and Rune Thread: These will be needed to craft Winter Clothes. Sell in single stacks as well as stacks of five. Sold by Tailoring Supplies and Leatherworking Supplies vendors.
