Facebook Live Streaming with Blizzard

World of Warcraft Live Streaming
Blizzard is teaming up with Facebook once again to bring new content to the World of Warcraft MMORPG game.  R.I.P. Ray D. Tear? I honestly think not in this case. As it was when Twitter was first integrated into the game this content took away no resources only a few moments from the developers time. Don't forget that this time around the developer team is even bigger then before. The majority of the work is most likely on Facebook's end. We can imagine that also alike the Twitter integration into the WoW game that it will be purely an optional feature and comes with a few player achievements.

The live streaming will also span across other Battlenet games such as OverWatch, Hearthstone, and Diablo 3. Imagine players streaming their Bastion spam plays or the ability for benched raiders to view their guild's raid progress as it happens. Not only that but it will also bring in possible new viewers whom have never heard of World of Warcraft. Yes, there are still quite a few despite the game's large success(Don't forget the new Warcraft movie either) over 10 years.

There is no doubt that the Facebook Go Live streaming feature will both bring positive and negative views. However, it is optional and the Twitter integration was no where near as bad as many had initially thought. Will you give this a try when it comes out?

Happy Playing!
