Recently, Crithto, the World of Warcraft Community Manager departed from Blizzard
Entertainment. This seemingly sudden decision comes just one month away from Blizzcon. Just as quickly a flurry of rumors abound that the former Community Manger had jumped ship. However, the perky pug mascot assured the community that there was no conspiracy nor anything nefarious about his decision to leave

"No conspiracy, nothing nefarious. I honestly received an offer that's a fantastic transition for me professionally. Believe me, this decision wasn't easy as this has been my life for a significant amount of time. It's scary to move on to something new and to think about leaving what's been a comfortable place to be. I may not be a CM after tomorrow, but I'll still be a geek and gamer like you fine people." - Crithto

Perky Pug in Stormwind

The desire to climb the success ladder often involves moving to another company, This was the case for both Ghostcrawler(whom left Blizzard for Riot Games) and Bashiok(whom left Blizzard for Wildstar) also departed from Blizzard with similar reasons.

Although Blizzard Entertainment is an established company as far as the 'fast track' mentality goes it is a place that leaves very little room for growth as an employee. When there is no room for progression, an employee will wish to move elsewhere to continue furthering not only their careers but also their personal growth.

Crithto (real name, Chad Wingerd) 

What a Long, Amazing Trip It's Been
Community Manager Crithto announced that October 8th is his last day at Blizzard. Crithto (real name, Chad Wingerd) is a former Blizzard employee and Community Manager for the NA World of Warcraft Community team and has been with the company since April, 2008. However, he's probably most recognizable as a friendly  Perky Pug in-game.On October 7, 2015,  His final day was October 8, 2015. We wish him well!
