Brewfest-palooza

This is Pistolita my Protection Paladin Dwarfette

 One of my most favorite holidays in World of Warcraft is Brewfest. It's a ingame holiday that starts on September 20th through October 5th. Basically your character can drink beer, ram race, collect tokens for prizes and even defeat a special boss. Of course Ironforge, which is the home to the Dwarves, is where the main action is at!

Last year the a player had to complete all of the achievements in order to gain the title, "Brewmaster". This year, however, the requirements were cut short. Not only that but if you missed out on the commemorative green stein from last year a player can get it this year. No new stein! Rawr!

Last Years Achievement Requirements

If a Level 78 to 80 character queues in to join four others to defeat the special holiday boss there is a possibility of gaining two new mounts or epic BOE/BOP items.

So far my characters have the following:
Fallingsnow - Brewfest kodo, Tankard O'Terror, Shanker
Chantico - Brewfest Ram
Masaya - Nothing! Zip! Zilch! Grrr I want both mounts on this girl! >.<
Kaolinite - Tankard O'Terror, Shanker
Tarrick - Nothing! Zip! Zilch! He just wants a kodo...
Ariella - Pickled Egg trinket, Shanker, and Coren's Chromium Coaster(She's a priestess with a melee trinket. I thought I could disenchant it but apparently not...) trinket.

There's still time left to keep farming for the mounts. Hopefully either Masaya or Tarrick will get the mount they both desire.

Brewfest Pro-tip:  "Just a tip, if you queue with your main and a friend and drop group, your friend can invite alts and they still get barrels. This way you can farm mounts on sub-80 characters." - Thanks helterxskelterx from WoW Ladies

  1. Agreed! I don't see very many dwarves(Much less females) on the servers I play on; but they rock!

  3. /salute

    More people should follow in your example. Afterall, Dwarves aren't just the typical drunken, clumsy louts who only make use of ale, heavy armor, and big, honkin' axes Although it's often fun to roleplay them that way at times. ^.^;

  4. So... many... shankers on my rogue. This time last year I'd have killed for it. ¬¬
